VARIETY interviews Afterlife With Archie creative team Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Francesco Francavilla, unveils trailer for issue #2
Top Hollywood entertainment site Variety spoke with Afterlife With Archie writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and artist Francesco Francavilla as well as Archie Comics CEO Jon Goldwater on the new ongoing horror series. In the interview, they discuss what inspired this new series, and who the target audience is:
“What we are trying to do, in addition to touting the great books we’ve put out in the market for kids, is also to expand the reach, and reach out to older fans of Archie who may have outgrown the traditional stories, but feel a sort of kinship to the brand,” explained Jon Goldwater.
The article also debuts the exclusive trailer for Afterlife With Archie #2, which hits comic shops tomorrow, November 20th.
