Afterlife With Archie Sweeps First Place Awards

Awards season is heating up and Afterlife With Archie is off to a great start, nabbing several awards in the 2013 First Place Awards on First Comics News.

The celebrated ongoing series snatched up awards for Best Comic, Best Writer for Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Best Cover for Andrew Pepoy, as well as Archie Comics scoring Best Publisher. In addition, Archie’s Red Circle series The Fox won Best Mini-Series of the Year.

Afterlife continues to impress critics and sell out with every issue, cementing its status as one of Archie’s most creative achievements to date. The merging of the Archie gang with a zombie apocalypse has been a smash hit from day one, and that momentum doesn’t seem to be slowing anytime soon thanks to supportive fans and retailers.
